San Salvatore di Fitalia - Adagiato sulle pendici dei Nebrodi, questo paesino possiede una bella Chiesa Madre dedicata a S. Salvatore (1515). L'esterno è piuttosto severo, ma è l'interno a rivelarsi sorprendente; recenti restauri hanno infatti portato alla luce la struttura cinquecentesca della chiesa, a tre navate separate da colonne in pietra arenaria che sostengono archi a sesto acuto. I bei capitelli sono scolpiti, secondo canoni iconografici tipicamente medievali, a motivi vegetali e antropomorfi; il capitello della prima colonna a destra, con l'iscrizione che riporta il nome del lapicida che realizzò le sculture, è scolpito con una particolarissima sirena bicaudata. Da ammirare inoltre, nella navata destra, la dolce Madonna della Neve di Antonello Gagini (1521) e, all'altar maggiore, una pregevole statua lignea del Salvator Mundi (1603) rappresentato nel momento della Trasfigurazione.

St. Savior of Fitalia - Abandoned on the slopes of the Nebrodis, this paesino possesses a beautiful Mother Church devoted to S. Salvatore (1515). The outside is rather severe, but it is the inside to reveal himself/herself/themselves amazing; recent restaurations have in fact brought the sixteenth-century structure of the church to the light, to three aisles separated by columns in stone sandstone that you/they sustain arcs to sixth acute. The beautiful capitals are graven, according to canons medieval iconografici typically, to vegetable and anthropomorphous motives; the capital of the first column to the right, with the registration that brings the name of the lapicida that realized the sculptures, it is graven with a particular siren bicaudata. To admire besides, in the right aisle, the sweet Madonna of the Snow of Antonello Gagini (1521) and, to the most greater altar, a valuable wooden statue of the Salvator Mundi (1603) represented in the moment of the Transfiguration.
